Penerapan Video Animasi pada Tema Alam Semesta untuk Anak Usia Dini di TK Sinar Mutiara Lambu Bima

Pembelajaran anak usia dini memerlukan pendekatan yang sesuai dengan tahap perkembangan kognitif dan karakteristik belajar anak, terutama dalam memahami konsep-konsep abstrak seperti pada tema “Alam Semesta.” Latar belakang permasalahan dalam penelitian ini berangkat dari rendahnya daya serap anak terhadap materi tematik yang disampaikan secara konvensional. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan media video animasi dalam pembelajaran tema alam semesta dan menilai efektivitasnya dalam meningkatkan pemahaman anak usia dini di TK Sinar Mutiara Lambu, Kabupaten Bima. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Lokasi penelitian dilaksanakan di TK Sinar Mutiara, dengan subjek penelitian terdiri atas guru kelompok B dan peserta didik sebanyak 15 anak sebagai sampel dari populasi anak usia 5–6 tahun. Dalam penelitian ini, menggunakan sumber data primer diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari dokumen perencanaan pembelajaran dan sumber pendukung lainnya. Teknik validasi data dilakukan secara triangulatif, dan analisis data menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman, meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Penelitian dimulai Maret s.d April 2025. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan video animasi mampu meningkatkan perhatian, keterlibatan, serta pemahaman anak terhadap materi pembelajaran secara signifikan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa media video animasi efektif diterapkan dalam pembelajaran tematik berbasis visual untuk anak usia dini dan berkontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan mutu proses belajar mengajar di lingkungan pendidikan anak usia dini.
