Abstract

Era algoritma menandai transformasi baru dalam Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) yang kini berhadapan dengan penetrasi kecerdasan buatan (AI), pergeseran otoritas keagamaan, dan krisis literasi religius di ruang digital. Fenomena ini mengubah cara generasi Muslim memahami dan mengakses ajaran agama di tengah logika algoritmik yang lebih menonjolkan popularitas daripada kebenaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi tantangan dan peluang PAI di era algoritma, dengan fokus pada hubungan antara AI, otoritas keagamaan digital, dan literasi religius peserta didik. Menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif berbasis studi pustaka terhadap sumber primer dan sekunder, penelitian ini dilakukan antara Januari hingga April 2025. Objek kajian mencakup praktik pembelajaran agama di ruang digital, transformasi otoritas keagamaan, serta konstruksi makna religius dalam budaya algoritmik. Analisis dilakukan melalui reduksi data, kategorisasi tematik, dan interpretasi hermeneutik dengan pendekatan historis dan kontekstual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa algoritma berperan sebagai agen epistemik baru yang menggeser otoritas guru menuju figur digital populer, sekaligus memperlemah literasi religius. Namun, teknologi ini juga membuka peluang bagi inovasi pedagogis berbasis AI yang menumbuhkan refleksi kritis dan etika keislaman. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan paradigma “Pedagogi Islam Digital-Kritis” yang menegaskan pentingnya literasi religius dan tanggung jawab moral dalam pembelajaran agama di era kecerdasan buatan.
