Reviewer Task Division

To ensure a thorough and rigorous evaluation, Action Research Journal Indonesia (ARJI) implements a flexible peer-review policy depending on the number of assigned reviewers:

1. Reviewer Assignment & Notification

Reviewers will be informed whether they are assigned as the sole reviewer or part of a two-reviewer team directly through their official Review Assignment Letter (Surat Tugas).

2. Task Division for Two Reviewers (Recommended)

When a manuscript is assigned to two reviewers (Reviewer A and Reviewer B), the evaluation tasks are divided as follows to maximize efficiency and depth of review:

  • Reviewer B: Focuses on evaluating the Title, Abstract, and Introduction (including novelty, research gap, urgency, and objectives).

  • Reviewer A: Focuses on evaluating the Methodology, Results & Discussion, Conclusion, and References (including data validity, theoretical synthesis, and reference adequacy).

  • Note: While this division is strongly recommended, if circumstances or manuscript complexity require it, either reviewer may review the entire manuscript.

3. Review Process for a Single Reviewer

When a manuscript is assigned to only one reviewer, the reviewer is expected to evaluate the entire contents of the manuscript from title to references.
