Abstract

Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) is a promotive and preventive effort to increase public awareness of maintaining health and preventing various diseases, including noncommunicable diseases (NCDs). This community service activity aimed to improve public knowledge and awareness regarding PHBS and the recognition of NCD risk factors through simple health screening. The activity was conducted by KKL-PPM Group 52 at Posyandu Mentari, Ganjar Asri Village RW 01, Metro Barat, Lampung on July 21, 2026. The activity applied a Service-Learning approach, integrating student learning with community service through needs identification, preparation, implementation of health services and education, reflection, and follow-up. A total of 20 participants attended the activity, consisting of 14 women (70%) and 6 men (30%). The examinations included blood pressure and random blood glucose (RBG). The results showed that 19 participants (95%) had normal RBG levels and 1 participant (5%) had an abnormal result. For systolic blood pressure, 7 participants (35%) were categorized as normal, 11 participants (55%) as prehypertension, 1 participant (5%) as stage I hypertension, and 1 participant (5%) as stage II hypertension. For diastolic blood pressure, 6 participants (30%) were categorized as normal, 9 participants (45%) as prehypertension, 3 participants (15%) as stage I hypertension, and 2 participants (10%) as stage II hypertension. These findings indicate the need for blood pressure monitoring and strengthening education regarding NCD risk factors. This activity is expected to encourage the community to consistently implement PHBS, conduct regular health checks, and follow up on examination results requiring further attention.
