About the Journal

Inisiatif: Jurnal Dedikasi Pengabdian Masyarakat is a scientific journal that focuses on publishing the results of community service activities grounded in research, innovation, and empowerment. The journal serves as an academic platform for disseminating best practices, empowerment models, and the implementation of science and technology that generate tangible impacts in improving the quality of life of communities.

This journal is managed by Pusmedia Group Indonesia, which is domiciled in Majalengka Regency. Established in 2023, the journal released its inaugural issue in Volume 1 Number 1 in June 2023. Since its inception, the journal has actively published scholarly articles addressing strategic issues in community service, including community empowerment, the application of appropriate technology, education and literacy, public health, environment and sustainability, as well as social, economic, and cultural aspects.

Inisiatif: Jurnal Dedikasi Pengabdian Masyarakat implements a rigorous peer-review process to ensure the quality, originality, and scientific relevance of each manuscript. By promoting collaboration among academics, practitioners, and the community, the journal is expected to become a strategic medium in strengthening the role of higher education institutions as agents of social change and drivers of inclusive and sustainable development.

The journal is published twice a year, in June and December, and adopts an open access system to ensure broad and unrestricted dissemination of knowledge. Articles are published in two languages: Bahasa Indonesia and English.
